Wow! What a fabulous day! Your performances were fantastic.
Parents and children came up to me all afternoon saying how much they enjoyed your singing. You were definitely a hit.

He is head-over-heels-hilarious! You DON'T want to miss this!

Ken performs for special library events throughout the year (Summer Library Programs, Halloween, Winter Holidays, Read-Across-America, National Children's Book Week, and more). His songs are literate, story-driven, and filled with laughter, melody and audience participation. Fun for kids of any age --- and happy adults, too!
Dear Ken Lonnquist ---
I dreamt that you were singing on stage, but you didn't have your guitar. You were dancing, too, and your wife helped you. I listen to your songs all of the time. I listen to the music over and over because I am trying to memorize the songs. My favorite songs so far are There's Something In The Bathroom and Red Rooster. I think your songs are very funny and I laugh a lot when I listen to them. When I first started listening, I thought you sang each song, each time I listened to them. I said that you must get very tired doing that! We are looking forward to seeing your Concert here in Cedarburg in June! See you soon!
--- Bonnie from Cedarburg, WI
His fresh look, appeal, voice, sound, and material were very welcome to all listeners attending this event. We were truly impressed by his performance and material. He had a good command of the group of 4-9 year olds.
He has written much of his own material and the selections followed the theme very closely. We recommend Ken Lonnquist as a great performer to all libraries throughout the area.
--- Dorothy Drouillard, Librarian, Brookfield, WI
Ken Lonnquist is a crowd pleaser. His audiences enjoy his clear voice and are amused and touched by the lyrics of his songs. Ken has a special way with children. As an elementary school teacher, I saw in Ken the unique spirit that is needed to interact with children and to pass a message on to them. Ken ensures that everyone has fun and participates in his programs, and he also informs the children of important issues. Through songs, poems, and stories, Ken makes learning about manners and environmental issues easy and enjoyable. He is a wonderful person to work with.

Thank you for the joyful performance for our summer reading program. The children and the adults truly had at toe-tappin' good time. You related so well to an audience of mixed ages. Thats really important at a smaller library where we tend to have the shows open to all ages.
We've had other performers at the Brandon Library. Most have done fine shows, but you take the award for the most gracious. You were not dismissive of our small space, and you were thoughtful to converse with young Dan, who often frequents the library. He is a bright child who reads way beyond his years. Since his mother must work very hard to support her sons, he often comes in as much for the social interaction as for library purposes. I will always remember that just before your performance you took time to talk with him. And I know he will remember the day Ken Lonnquist performed at Brandon, too.
--- Nancy Paul, Librarian, Brandon, WI
Your performance was great! It is always a pleasure to host your show --- a lot of fun for all ages. Your talent and enthusiasm entertains everyone. Your creativity, educational messages and rapport with the audience is a great experience for all. Thanks again for your commitment to quality entertainment for children and their families.
