Ken's concerts address a range of topics from water cycles to rainforests, natural beauty to recycling, biomes to rivers & wildlife. He puts the discussion in the context of everyday life and our ability to make things better. These upbeat, often humorous concerts connect the idea of a good time with being good to each other and the planet.

This summer, when my sister returned from DNR camp, she spoke enthusiastically of your music and stories. She ordered a tape from you and as soon as she received it she played it for our famiy. From then on I have loved your music.

What I find very interesting is that almost all of your songs have a story behind them, giving them more meaning than just the words in the music. In the song Acid Rain you express comically the problems that could occur because of acid rain, but you also give a serious side which left me with the feeling that it truly isn't a laughing matter. Your songs left me with such a good feeling inside, making me think about the good and the bad that is happening around me.
My sister says you often go to schools to perform. Would you come to my high school, Wauwatosa East?

     --- Jennifer Grining, Wauwatosa, WI

My children and I have enjoyed your music for many years. We think that YOU should be the international superstar, since all that Raffi guy can do is sing Father Christmas in French. Big deal. And I've heard he rides a ten-speed bike --- what a showoff!

     --- WI Woodland Owners Association

My heartfelt thanks for a lively show on the afternoon of our Earth Day at Bethel Horizons. I received many glowing comments about your concert. I especially enjoyed your expert combination of fun songs for kids (and adults) and your contemporary adult music. As usual, you did a wonderful job with the talkative kids and earned many a chuckle from the crowd. What a fun way to cap off a great day!

I think you are the best singer I have ever heard! My mouth started to hurt because I smiled so much!    --- 6th Grader

I loved your music. I have this friend, and I've never seen her laugh so much in my life! Thanks for coming.  --- 6th Grader

I saw Ken Lonnquist perform at a Youth Conservation Camp, and from the minute he began, I was amazed. Someone with such talent and insight is a gift to us all. Thank you. --- Brooke Ramsey, HS Student
