The musical driving-force behind the real Wisconsin. ~ Sly Sylvester, WTDY Radio
What amazing work you do. Funny, serious, and beautifully produced. ~ Stuart Stotts, Songwriter
A deep and heartfelt thanks to you and Dave for coming out for the Solidarity Sing-Along event last Thursday. It was a terrific outpouring of community, love, and solidarity for all of us! I was excited, too, as I had the vantage point of sitting on the column directly in front of you during the Move On rally last month. Lots of folks expressed their joy at hearing "14 Senators" performed live. Great to hear your soulful, poet's voice and with Dave as a one man bluegrass band, it floated above the room as a genuine gift. Thank you for giving. ~ Dave Pedersen
One of Ken Lonnquist’s recall songs aired is worth 1000 funded attack ads. ~ Rick Potter
I am blown away by 1) THE SONGS 2) the players 3) the clever arrangements & endings! 4) the overall sound & sonics (production/engineering/mix) of the record--state of the art 5) the package--don't know why but that color blue is somehow perfect!
-Hammond organ off the top I”This Is”) -- soulful. -Electric guitar in "14 Senators" kicks ass. -Sequencing “High Speed Rail” next sustains the energy beautifully. -Piano/guitar texture in “Hey Gov. Walker” is plaintive -Drums kick ass in “Weasel”; of course love yr spoken intro. -“Stand & Fight”… mon--gotta have that reggae beat. -“Recall” is both a march and I'm sure a great dance tune for a crowd. -Love the “money” refrain & middle 8 in “Sure Scott”. -“Our Own W” is just too funny...love the Cheney send-off. -“Sundown” –“recall's comin’” refrain at end is anthemic! -“America” --piano is like a bell. -“Pink Slip” --rollicking sing along--sure that's fantastic live! Huge props to Dave, Pete and all the players. ~ John Wackman

As Wisconsin born, raised and educated but currently living in Colorado, I recently had the pleasure of hearing your most excellent “Cinco Goodbye-Oh” celebration of Scott Walker’s incipient demise.
I am exceedingly proud to see the decent sons and daughters of Wisconsin peaceably, lawfully and inexorably, taking their State Government back from corrupt corporate interests. Wisconsin has a noble history of ethical governance, progressive reform, and caring about its people coupled with a strong independent streak. Scott Walker and his cronies have spit on that tradition. America is watching with great interest their inspiring example of citizen activism in the face of limitless money and dirty tricks from those who have demonstrated their disrespect for the democratic process.
Music has an incredible power to stimulate thought and motivate action... Bless you for sharing your gift of muse in the fight to restore the Wisconsin of Fighting Bob, Gaylord Nelson, Bill Proxmire, Russ Feingold and many, many other ethical progressives.

I laughed for several minutes straight when I first heard the term, "Cinco Goodbye-o." Thanks for that!
